
Storage and logistics
CalWin Stock and Logistics is a package of efficient CalWin modules that handle the logistics for all inventory items in the company. The modules can be used individually or in combination with one or more other CalWin modules. Thus, the logistics work can be adapted to exact and individual needs.
By using the modules in CalWin Logistics, the entire flow of items to and from the factory, stores, or sales points can be optimized. CalWin Logistics contributes to efficient inventory management, good overview, and lower storage costs. It is easy to maintain an overview of raw materials, semi-finished products, and throughout the production, inventory usage is drawn from the relevant production point, so that inventory value can also be calculated at any time. When used in a consolidated and integrated solution, planning, demand calculations, purchasing, and inventory can be managed efficiently and securely. Through its integration with all other modules in CalWin, manual work is minimized and maximum overview and insight are achieved simultaneously.
CALWIN PURCHASE
CalWin Purchase is a module with strong purchasing features. It can either be used as an independent purchasing module, where purchases are registered manually, or in combination with CalWin Needs Calculation, which can create purchase proposals in the purchasing module. The module can also be used in combination with CalWin EDI Purchase, for electronic communication with suppliers, and with CalWin Purchase Invoice.
The module simplifies the purchasing functions in the business and provides a good overview of all aspects of ordered and received goods. In addition to purchasing traditional goods, CalWin's purchasing module can handle configured products such as windows, doors, glass, fittings with specifications, etc. Purchases (orders) can be sent to suppliers in various ways, i.e., email, via fax, or by post, and can be immediately followed up and monitored in CalWin. Optionally, it can be sent electronically via CalWin EDI Purchase.

CALWIN DEMAND CALCULATION
This module enables automatic calculation of demand for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.
Timely ordering of necessary items is ensured with CalWin Demand Calculation, and production proceeds as planned, since the necessary raw materials and other goods are always available when needed. Since CalWin monitors the requirements for items, purchases can be limited to the items that will be used in the near future. Thus, inventory levels are optimized, which in turn means reduced storage space and less tied-up capital.
When CalWin Demand Calculation is used in combination with the inventory and purchasing modules, a complete inventory and purchasing function is achieved that ensures good oversight and minimal and cost-effective inventory. A prerequisite for using CalWin Demand Calculation is that CalWin Inventory Management is installed.

Functions:
- Creates proposals for the purchase of raw materials based on minimum/maximum stock levels
- Creates proposals for stock orders of finished goods and semi-finished products at minimum/maximum stock levels
- Creates proposals for the purchase of goods that are usually not in stock
- Creates proposals for the purchase of goods with variants. That is, goods that are not in stock and that depend on the type or measurement of the component they originate from. For example, size and shape of glass or length of fittings such as espagnolette
- Proposals can be changed and/or rejected manually
CALWIN STOCK
CalWin Warehouse Management records all movements to and from the warehouse, and in addition to quantities in stock for each item, it also tracks live information about quantities on order and in production or purchase. All of this is done across an unlimited number of warehouse locations.
CalWin Warehouse Management includes a very user-friendly, yet advanced inventory function. It supports an unlimited number of inventory areas. So you can inventory the same item in multiple areas.
In addition to managing normal items (raw materials), this module opens up for the storage of constructed products—windows and doors. Therefore, when an operator enters a product that matches a defined stored product, he will be notified and given the option to either pick it from the warehouse or produce it.

CALWIN SHIPPING DOCUMENT
CalWin Shipping Document simplifies and automates paper-based shipping routines and makes them more efficient.
Current information related to shipping is transferred directly from CalWin to the carrier. If printed shipping documents are desired, these can be produced automatically. Consequently, all manual work is avoided, the process is quick, and the risk of errors is eliminated.
Features:
- The customer receives direct notification of delivery via email and can stay updated on transport and arrival time by accessing tracking information. Automatic creation of shipping documents as part of the delivery routine. Create shipping documents that are not linked to shipping (only linked to orders).
- Print labels, shipping documents, and pickup lists.
- Receive confirmations from carriers.
- Transfer shipping documents to carriers electronically.
- Send delivery notifications to customers via email.

CALWIN SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS
The module provides an overview of semi-finished products in stock, which forms the basis for purchasing or production of such items. This contributes to optimized production of finished products and shorter delivery times. Used in combination with the CalWin Inventory Management module, it provides a complete overview of the entire inventory balance, what has been reserved for orders in hand, what has been ordered, when the items will arrive at the warehouse, and how many semi-finished products are in stock or in production.
CalWin Semi-Finished Products is highly flexible, and its settings and usage can be adapted to meet varying requirements and preferences.

CALWIN PURCHASE INVOICE
CalWin Purchase Invoice includes the functions for receiving and checking incoming invoices related to purchases that have been generated or registered in CalWin. Here we also find the procedures for assigning accounting references and transferring invoice information to an external accounting system.
The functions in the module contribute to a more secure control of invoices against received items and provide a good opportunity for reusing the information later. The accounting work is performed in the Purchase Invoice module, resulting in postings and transaction amounts in the financial system being updated quickly afterward.
